Open for booking fall, winter, and spring. Closed in summer while we keep things running lean during our slower season, the Modern House stays open year-round if you need summer dates.

Is the BoHo Yurt really private?

Yes. The BoHo Yurt has its own private outdoor deck, seating area, and hot tub. You are on 30 acres — you will have your space.

 

Is there a washer and dryer?

No. We recommend packing for your full stay. The nearest laundromat is in Alpine, about an hour away, so plan accordingly.

 

Is it really only 3 miles from Big Bend?

Yes — 3 miles to the park entrance. You can be on a trail before most people finish their breakfast.

 

Is there good cell service?

Cell service in the Big Bend area is limited and varies by carrier. The BoHo Yurt has high speed Wi-Fi so you can stay connected when you need to — and completely unplug when you want to.

 

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. Need a little flexibility? Text us and we will do our best to help.

- No smoking anywhere on the property

- Quiet hours after 10:00 PM

BRINGING YOUR DOG?

We love that you are bringing your adventure partner — and we want to make sure everyone stays happy and safe on the property. Here is what you need to know:

 

- Pet fee: $65 per pet

- A pet waiver must be signed at booking

- Dogs must be under 60 lbs — have a bigger pup? Text us and we will chat

- No aggressive breeds or dogs with a history of aggression — we have our own dogs and other guests on property and everyone's safety comes first

- Well behaved dogs are always welcome here 🐾
